Custom Apparel by Dana (CABD)is a locally owned custom apparel and spiritwear business based in Northern Virginia. What started in 2022 with one sports mom looking for better, more creative team apparel has grown into a business serving schools, teams, clubs, organizations, businesses, events, and individuals throughout the community.
We specialize in bringing your ideas to life through custom apparel, spiritwear, embroidery, screen printing, direct-to-film printing, and promotional products. Whether you need one personalized item, apparel for an entire team, or a complete online spiritwear store for your school or organization, we make the process easy from design to delivery.
At Custom Apparel by Dana, there are no minimum order requirements, and every project receives personal attention. We can help with everything from creating or refreshing a design to selecting the right apparel and setting up an online store. For schools, teams, and organizations, we also offer fundraising opportunities and convenient individual ordering and delivery options.

How It Works
1. Reach Out to Get Started
Contact Dana to discuss your needs — team size, sport or activity, style preferences, and timeline. We'll put together a custom quote and product selection just for you.
2. Choose Your Products & Customization
Pick from a wide range of apparel including jerseys, t-shirts, hoodies, polos, and more. We offer:
- Custom Heat transfers, embroidery and screen printing
- Team names, numbers, and player names
- School or organization logos
- Color matching to your team colors
3. Set Up Your Team Store (Optional)
For larger groups, we can set up a dedicated online team store where individual players or families order and pay directly — no more collecting money or sizes yourself. Stores are open for a set ordering window, then we produce and deliver everything at once.
4. Review & Approve Your Order
Before production begins, you'll receive a proof or sample for approval. We don't start printing or embroidering until you give the green light.
5. Delivery or Pickup
We offer local delivery and team drop-off for qualifying orders. Orders are bundled and delivered together — perfect for distributing at practice or a team event.

Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimums vary by product and decoration type. Contact us and we'll let you know what applies to your specific order.But we have plenty of items that there is no minimum order required.
How long does production take?
Typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks after artwork and order approval. Rush options may be available — ask when you reach out.
Can I mix sizes and styles in one order?
Yes! We can accommodate a range of sizes (youth through adult) and multiple styles within a single team order.
What file format do you need for logos?
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are preferred for the best print quality. We can also work with high-resolution PNG or PDF files. Don't have a file? We can help with that aspect.
How does a team store work?
A team store is a private online shop set up specifically for your group. It's open for a defined window (typically 1–2 weeks), then closes so we can produce all orders together. This eliminates the hassle of collecting individual payments and sizes.
Do you offer fundraising options?
Yes — we can build a markup into team store pricing so your organization earns a portion of every sale. Ask about our fundraising setup when you contact us.
